Rise of the Tomb Raider DLC Fully Detailed
Temple of the Witch, the DLC plops Lara in the middle of a spooky forest controller by the Slavic witch, who lives in a house set upon giant chicken legs.
“Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch” will be followed by “Cold Darkness Awakened”, a kill or be killed survival-combat that pits Lara against beasts and men turned “bloodthirsty, mindless killers”.
Three additional DLC packs have been announced, each one with a new outfit, weapon and cards. Yup, it’s insane all right, and it could damn well be Tomb Raider at its darkest.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is at the moment only offered on the Xbox One, and when the game arrives on the PC and the PlayStation 4, it’s likely that a bundle featuring all the extra content will be offered. Like the other two pieces of content it will also include a new outfit and weapon for Lara. No exact release date had been pinned yet. It’s the area where a Soviet expedition vanished without a trace.
There will also be new weapons and skins for “Rise of the Tomb Raider” players to check out. The DLC aims to answer if Baba Yaga’s legend is what everyone makes it out to be or if there’s more than meets the eye. Includes a new outfit, and a new bow. Also including new weapons and outfits, Cold Darkness Awakens features Lara surviving against waves of predators that had breached an abandoned weapons research base, becoming infected with some kind of affliction.
The Wild edition offers “a highly unique impact on gameplay” and may possibly bring in some creative, crazy, or even Rare Cards. The mystery of a lost expedition will lead Lara into a new tomb with more puzzles to solve, enemies to defeat and some pretty trippy hallucinations to contend with. These packs are titled, “The Prophet’s Legacy Pack”, “The Ancient Vanguard Pack”, and “The Wilderness Survivor Pack”.
