Rapper Lamar tops Grammy nods, Swift leads in main categories
Other artists raking in nominations for the 2016 Grammys include Ed Sheeran, whose “Thinking Out Loud” is up for record of the year, and Mark Ronson, who is nominated for pop vocal album of the year and record of the year for “Uptown Funk” featuring Bruno Mars.
Lianne La Havas’ Blood is up for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Best country album: “Montevallo”, Sam Hunt; “Pain Killer”, Little Big Town; “The Blade”, Ashley Monroe; “Pageant Material”, Kacey Musgraves; “Traveller”, Chris Stapleton.
But Swift was ahead in the four most-watched categories, with nominations in all of them except Best New Artist.
Nominated are his album “Beauty Behind The Madness”, the chart-topping hit single “Can’t Feel My Face”, and “Earned It” from the “Fifty Shades Of Grey” soundtrack.
The 28-year-old singer will be hoping February 15 is his lucky night, when he contests for Grammy Awards in some of the most fierce categories including Album of the Year.
