They surprised them with a brand new baby brother by hiding him under the Christmas tree.

Courtney Solstad and her husband adopted a baby boy, Nathan, last week, and were able to take him home in time for Christmas.

Posting a video on Facebook, mum Courtney explained that the three girls had been excited at the prospect of their parents adopting a baby, but weren’t aware that they had. They completely lose it. They placed the swaddled little boy under the tree and brought the girls into the room.

The girls knew nothing about Nathan until this. They squeal with delight, jump up and down, cry tears of joy and one even says, “I’m going to wet my trousers!”

Solstad’s video of her daughters’ surprise Christmas gift had received more than 600 likes and 60,000 views by December 6, TODAY News reports.

Courtney posted the footage to Facebook with the caption: “The girls knew nothing about Nathan until this”.

“Don’t do that”, her mother is heard saying, laughing.
