Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen ask to be in Taylor Swift’s squad
The “Bad Blood” video has already gone down as one of 2015’s most impressive efforts, with Taylor rounding up a host of her famous friends, including Lena Dunham, Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez and even Cindy Crawford, to appear in the action-packed clip.
Taylor Swift has responded to Ian McKellen’s viral rendition of her hit song “Bad Blood“.
But there are now two rather unlikely celebrities vying for a spot in Taylor’s coveted girl gang. You know it used to be mad love’ in his wonderfully British accent.
On Thursday he tweeted a link to a recording made of him speaking the Blank Space lyrics on NPR’s Ask Me Another show.
‘So @IanMcKellen recited Bad Blood and I did Blank Space on @NPRAskMeAnother.
Stewart asked so politely too, what with his “May we join the squad?” “She was nine and I was eight and we held hands by the sea and such, and then we parted after the holiday and we wrote letters to each other”.
Well Swift, why just want a squad like theirs when you can totally just combine the two?
Naturally, Taylor couldn’t resist replying.
