And the Kimye Baby’s Name is… Saint West
In the end, it’s a personal call what someone calls their kids, and lets be honest – no one’s going to go bullying the son of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West now, are they?
“SAINT WEST, 12.05.12, 8 POUNDS 1 OUNCE”, the website post, named To Our Fans, read. The name is surprising everyone because they thought the parents would give their son a directional name like they gave their 2-year-old daughter, North West.
“BUT it worked!!! My baby is in the right position and it feels so good to not have the stress of thinking I need a C-section”. “I think it’s so stupid, I don’t like South West, North will always be better”, she said in a June interview.
It has not been an easy pregnancy for Kim, who recently revealed she had to undergo an External Cephalic Version procedure to have her baby moved from the breech position.
“I don’t have names, which is so insane”, North West’s mom told E!
Their first-born’s name, Kingston, might have seemed a little different back in the day, but that’s nothing compared to his younger brothers, Zuma Nesta Rock and Apollo Bowie Flynn. And, it turns out, as hard as it is to find modern babies named Saint, it’s even harder to pin down the history of religious sainthood.
Kim also took to Twitter, writing “He’s here!” alongside a touching snap of her holding hands with Kanye.
On Dec. 5, Kardashian announced on her website that she had welcomed her second child with her husband.
Yet another altered image showed Kim and Kanye’s faces pasted over Mary and Joseph’s as they doted on the baby Jesus in the nativity scene.
One took aim by posting a meme of Kanye as Jesus while cradling the baby emoji, a supposed reference to the rapper’s performance name Yeezus and his 2013 song I Am God.
“I felt like it will just come to us”, she added.
Still, Kardashian and West are no stranger to controversy, even when it comes to what they decide to name their child.
