Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift to be launched today

The new A Class is priced from INR 24.95 Lakhs for the Mercedes A 180 Sport (ex-showroom Mumbai), and INR 25.95 Lakhs for the Mercedes A 200d (ex-showroom Mumbai).
That apart, it also sells imported models like the A and B-Class compacts, the CLS, SLK, E-Class Cabriolet, S-Class Coupe, and the S 600 Guard, the iconic off-roader Mercedes-AMG G 63 and AMG performance cars like the CLA 45, C 63 S, E 63, SLK 55, S 63 Coupe, GL 63, ML 63, S 63, GLA 45 and GT S. As the most progressive model in the compact luxury segment, the A-Class has been instrumental in making Mercedes-Benz brand more youthful.
The new facelifted A-class petrol variant is powered up by the same 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo engine, which gives 120bhp and 200Nm of torque.
“We couldn’t have concluded the product offensive of 2015 with a better product”. In terms of design upgrades, the front fascia of the new 2015 A-Class comes with a revised air dam and a pair of new head lamps along with optional LED DRLs. The new A-Class also gets an upgraded rear bumper with new tail pipe openings and an upgraded diffuser.
The A-Class will continue to get both petrol and diesel engines. Both are mated to the 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox that that will drive the front wheels only. The tunnel console gets a new rotary switch for selecting various driving modes. The facelifted A-class will also have numerous safety features including six airbags, ESP, ASR, ABS, brake assist system, hill start assist and adaptive brake lights.
The colour palette available with the A Class is an exclusive “Elbaite Green” colour in addition to Cirrus White, Jupiter Red, Cosmos Black and Polar Silver.
