Fossil Q Founder is the Newest Android Wear
We’re here to talk about Fossil’s Q Founder smartwatch which sports a circular display, read on.
The intelligent watch comes in two versions. One with a stainless steel case and steel band for $295, the other with a stainless steel case and leather band for $275, available soon. The IP67 certification means that you can do the dishes while wearing the watch, and not worry about it getting wet. The onboard activity tracker will let you monitor your activity, keeping a record of all the steps and jumps you take with your watch. In fact, the company also has the Q Grant, a non-Android Wear model with a regular watch face that just provides tracking and notification. Want a stainless steel band?
The Q Founder has been compared with Moto 360 because of that flat, round display. With the latest updated to the Android version, now users can run Authenticator on their Android Wear smartwatches, making secure logins as easy as a glance at the wrist. The new wearable is also available through Fossil’s retail stores as well. Its screen has 1.5 inches and 240ppi, and its battery can last for 24 hours. The Android Wear powered smartwatch is the result of a partnership between Fossil and Intel, and will pair with an Android phone running Android 4.4 or higher.
Furthermore, the smartwatch features a gyroscope, an accelerometer and ambient light.
There is one other smartwatch powered by Intel.
The new Fossil Q Founder is compatible with Android devices running Android 4.4 KitKat and higher. Produced by TAG Heuer, it comes at the painful price of $1,500.
