Seems all Warriors do these days is win
On a night Paul George’s offense was littering the Vivint Smart Home Arena with buckets, it wasn’t a night to celebrate for the reemerging superstar. Not with the Indiana Pacers having an opportunity to end a historic winning streak. If the Pacers put George on Stephen Curry, C.J.
George, along with the rest of the Pacers, said he desires to accomplish what no team in the National Basketball Association has done this season: defeat the Warriors.
The Warriors will try to make it 27 straight wins dating back to last season when they visit the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.
Klay Thompson, Golden State – Thompson hasn’t exactly been the sidekick for Steph Curry this season like he was in 2014, but he is starting to come on. Even against an undefeated juggernaut like the Warriors, that’s a fair amount of points to give to an IN team with a top-10 defense and that plays well on its home court.
After the gruesome injury in early August of 2014, many believed that Paul George was going to be shuffled into a category as another “what if”. However, Hayward has been playing well, putting up 39, 39, and 38 fantasy points in his last three games. The Warriors have won four straight games on this current 7-game road trip, but no team in National Basketball Association history has ever gone a flawless 7-0 SU on a seven-game road swing.
It’s a short slate of games on Tuesday night, as 12 teams will take the floor, but there are plenty of studs and sleepers to choose from. He scored a career-high 48 points in Saturday’s loss to the Utah Jazz.
Curry is on pace to shatter the league record for three-point attempts.
A skinny, peach-fuzzed point guard isn’t supposed to dominate like this.
At 6-foot-9, 230 pounds, George brings physical characteristics somewhat similar James. I’m just going to throw it out there that we’re all stupid for not being able to see this coming.
“(We’ve) got a team full of believers. “I do have a different role, as far as scoring the ball and being a playmaker for this team as well”. But NBA 2K16 simulated the game, and they think the Pacers can pull it off. Instead of an insane dominance of the vaunted Western Conference over the East, it’s much more even as the middle of the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons, and Orlando Magic have all either slightly overachieved or remained about the same. Curry likely will guard Hill, so the Pacers could direct more of their offense through him to make him more tired and, hopefully, foul-burdened. “It’s not going away”, he said, “so it is what it is”.
“We’re the East Coast Splash Brothers”, George said in his postgame television interview on Fox Sports Indiana after an impressive win at Washington two weeks ago. “You have to get the ball out of the net, and you have to go and attack”. Curry is listed at 185 pounds and relies on finesse rather than brute strength. Opponents not only shot better, they took nearly three more three-point shots per game on average (23.7 vs. 20.9). Instead, the opposition should focus on hitting their own three-point shots: opponents shot 39.7 percent from three in games in which the Warriors lost and 32.1 percent in those games Golden State won.
“A talented guy like that, there’s no one guy that stops a guy like that”, said Miles. Good luck with whatever choice you make. “Well, right now, their best decision-maker is their big man. The person you’re outletting to is like another point guard”.
2005-06 Ray Allen had 70 threes through 22 team games.
Add it all up, and the Pacers, particularly George, present as daunting a task as the Warriors have faced this season. “They said he looks better, he’s slowly getting better, and we’ll look forward to getting him back out there to help us win”, Walton said. “It’ll definitely change the perspective of this team”.
