American League MVP Josh Donaldson Covers ‘MLB 16 The Show’
Pre-orders for the PS4 regular and special editions of Major League Baseball 16: The Show are now available; for those that order early, there are plenty of pre-order benefits available once picking up or downloading the game: 10 bonus standard-item packs and a Player Rep Rookie Card. ShowTime will allow players to slow down time in a game’s most important moments.
Another new feature for “MLB 16” is ShowTime.
The Road to the Show experience, on PS4 only, will also be more personalized and features a revamped training system. According to the game’s developer, the Road to the Show mode in “MLB 16: The Show” will finally allow players to progress through an entire series of matches without having to constantly go back to the main menu.
This is the first time a member of the Toronto Blue Jays has made the cover of the video game, which is only available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, in both the USA and Canada.
Donaldson won this year’s Hank Aaron Award, the Silver Slugger Award, Sporting News MLB Player of the Year and was named MLB and AL Player of the Year by his on-field peers. He also helped guide the team to an appearance in the American League Championship Series, before they were eventually eliminated by the Kansas City Royals.
Sony has provided more details on MLB The Show 16 in a PlayStation Blog post.
