Donald Trump: Even cheating spouse shouldn’t stop Iowa caucus-goers
‘Probably more than any room I’ve ever spoken to’. Having spent a little more than $200,000 on television ads, Trump nonetheless leads the field. Among Republicans without college degrees, Trump had 46 percent to 12 percent for Cruz, 11 percent for Carson and 8 percent for Rubio.
But Trump was outright booed by the audience after he would not endorse Jerusalem as Israel’s undivided capital.

And the candidate also received flack, including from his peers, when he questioned Israel’s devotion to peace in the Palestinian conflict. I’m as guilty as anyone else – and maybe more; I don’t just read about the polls, I write about them.
All other candidates have the support of less than 5 percent of Republican voters.
He lauded Israel for being “on the frontlines of our civilizational struggle against radical, apocalyptic Islam”.
And Mike Huckabee seemed to target Trump when he mentioned that some in his party support what he called the “head-scratching” proposal that Mideast peace is possible only if Israel and the Palestinians both come to the table.
“He’s – I guess I don’t want to say he’s a man’s man, but he is”, Tony declared.
Such a lack of trust, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll, might be astonishing if we were not already accustomed to hearing about it – about our politicians in general and about these two candidates in particular. There’s evidence, for example, that some New Hampshire voters wait to see how the Iowa caucuses turn out before they decide.

In another example, Carson tried to challenge Trump’s claim that he was a “low-energy” candidate by recalling how he nearly stabbed a classmate in “pathological anger” that was only stopped by the boy’s belt buckle. He should know better, and probably does’. Friday brought a rally in North Carolina.
“A gun free zone is like meat to these animals”, Donald Trump said, referring to bad guys. “Poll numbers go up and down, they have been since the beginning and they will continue to do so….”
