Bills LeSean McCoy still carrying a Chip on his shoulder

This is my first article of Curry’s Profit/Loss and I’m really excited about it. I’m an avid fantasy football user, and I’ve reached the championship game in my fantasy league twice, winning once (could of been twice if not for Le’Veon Bell’s injury last year). “I have tremendous respect for LeSean”.

The former Philly back was traded by Kelly to Buffalo during the offseason and since then has had a string of incidents in which he’s made it clear the two didn’t, and don’t, get along.

“Chip can’t say s- to me”, McCoy said, per Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News. He can’t call me, he can’t shake my hand. With LeSean McCoy and Sammy Watkins thriving at the right moment, the rise of Charles Clay could be the x-factor. There’s no problem. We ain’t like best friends or that, but we’re no enemies. I don’t have anything against him.

McCoy did, according to various reporters, say he would give Eagles running back coach Duce Staley a big hug, and he built a strong bond with owner Jeffrey Lurie.

An excited LeSean McCoy told his Buffalo Bills teammates Tuesday morning that he will need their help Sunday in defeating his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

“I’m not gonna get into an argument with him or a fight with him”, he said. He doesn’t care about the player and how he feels about it. He’s the coach, so I guess I can understand that type of thinking. “And he was like, he understands why a lot of guys were kind of frustrated”, McCoy said. I think it’s the difference between me and other players – (that) other players will only say how they feel. “I stand by everything I said before”. He emphasized that, ensuring that everyone knows he never called him anything along those lines.

First, McCoy said in an ESPN interview that Kelly got rid of “all the good black players” when making over the roster. “One thing about myself, I will take back nothing I say”. At 27, he’s averaging just 3.5 yards per carry in Chip Kelly’s system and will struggle to finish with even half as many rushing yards as he had last season. He’s smart. He’s really smart and he just taught me different things.
