McCarthy: Lacy Can Win Back Job

The elite tight ends such as New England’s Rob Gronkowski or Kansas City’s Travis Kelce average just under 8.0.

A big problem for the Packers this season is their rushing attack. Green Bay got an untimed down after Aaron Rodgers was tackled by the face mask on the previous play as time expired. He knows how to lean into defenders, getting them to open their hips. He had a safety on him most of the time, and he was making quick moves and doing a good job of setting up his routes. “We talk a lot about what’s behind us, way too much, and we’re really focused on today and beating the Cowboys, and that’s what I want everybody to think about, talk about, and that’s what we’re looking forward to”.

“Richard was playing very fast”. The Packers would love to get Rodgers more involved considering all of the other injuries on offense. And as the Packers make that playoff push, they have to be able to do two things. “I was just downstairs and I lost track of time”, he said. Besides avoiding further trouble off the field, he looks forward to delivering again on it. “It was just the first game out there, so it’s adjusting to a lot of things”.

Quarless would have to be activated off injured reserve/designated to return, which means a spot would have to be created on the 53-man roster to accommodate him.

McCarthy seemed willing to give Lacy another shot.

“Everything Eddie wants to accomplish is right there in front of him”, McCarthy said, via ESPN.com. He’s a smart guy.
