Harrison Ford talks The Force Awakens

“Lightsaber duels from the Star Wars films are some of cinema’s most recognized battles and an iconic part of the most popular movie franchise of all time”, said Craig Lazarus, ESPN vice president, SportsCenter & News, Storytelling Units. “I can say the same about Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher”, the director said.

“I had already piloted the Falcon”, Ridley told ABC News” Chris Connelly in an interview for “Nightline”. But they did so to honor the history of the film’s release at that theater.

“The Force Awakens”, which will be released in theaters nationwide on December 18, is set 30 years after “Return of the Jedi”. We go see the movie as a celebration after so I hope it’s good.

Are there surprises? “Oh I should think so”, he replied.

“We will take viewers on a unique journey that examines the connection of these duels to sports and their evolution, from the original trilogy through the prequels, and now to Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, said Lazarus.

“My son was born during Empire Strikes Back and he’s the Star Wars expert in our family now”.

The Force Awakens is the seventh episode in the sci-fi franchise created by George Lucas. When I was watching the reels in 3-D, there were a number of shots – and I know this sounds insane – that I hadn’t understood in the three-dimensional space quite the way I did when I saw them in 3-D.

“They’re my co-stars and we were in a working environment”, said Boyega. I get that. This is a judgment-free zone.
