Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif the Cute Couple NeXt, In Aankhen 2!!

“Aankhen 2 will star Kapoor, Kaif, Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead”. The source close to the media outlet although confirmed that the thriller film can not be made without Bachchan and the official announcements will be made in the next 15-20 days. “Official announcements will happen soon”, says the source. It was at some stage in the release of Welcome Back whilst director Aneez Bazmi told that he is working at the sequel to the movie and an announcement will be made soon. The previous film “Aankhen” starred Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen.

“Aankhen” revolves around a bank robbery by three blind persons. But one thing is for sure that without Amitabh Bachchan Aankhen 2 can not be made.

In a never-been-done-before attempt at fresh and unusual casting, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and Chikni Chameli actress Katrina Kapoor are being approached for the sequel of the 2002 movie Aankhen, according to an article in Mid Day.

If everything goes well then Katrina Kaif and Shahid will be seen sharing screen space for the first time.

Bazmee is now all set to take the story forward with a new cast. His other upcoming film is Udta Punjab, which also stars his ex-flame Kareena Kapoor.
