Adele says hello to the X Factor
Chart-topping Adele will sing her single “Hello”, from her latest album 25, which smashed sales records since its release.
A source close to X Factor boss Simon Cowell said everyone on the show was “thrilled” they signed Adele for this week end.
“X Factor is where it all started for them in the first place so it’s the flawless place to do a proper farewell”.
‘It would have to depend on who’s in the final.
“The way I look at it with One Direction is that we’ve had five fantastic years and they’re totally exhausted”, Simon recently told MailOnline.
An X Factor spokesman said: “Louisa has been sick and was ordered on voice rest yesterday, so her homecoming performance unfortunately had to be cancelled at the last moment”.
As every year, the X Factor finale will run over two nights, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th.
The trio have been canvasing for votes this week as they travel across the United Kingdom on their respective “battle buses”.
And we haven’t even learned yet who the superstar guests are who will be duetting with the finalists, although we’re guessing Rita Ora may join her act Louisa Johnson on stage…
The show’s official Twitter page also revealed that Adele will be performing her smash single Hello during the final, resulting in a girl power lineup that we just can’t wait for.
Last year’s victor, Ben Haenow, has also confirmed that he’ll be taking to the stage over the weekend, teasing fans with the fact his performance will include “a lil surprise”. So tune in on ITV Saturday and Sunday, or catch up online!
