Houston star defensive end Watt has broken hand but will play Sunday
Watt said he broke his hand and that he will still play in the Sunday Night Football game against the New England Patriots on KPRC 2. “Come at it. I’ll take advantage of whatever you try to do”. Despite New England’s 35-28 loss to Philadelphia last Sunday, Brady moved into third place on the NFL’s all-time TD pass list (423), passing Hall of Famer Dan Marino(420).
We here at PatsFans.com are continuing our “Razor’s Edge” column in 2015 to give a quick break down on some of the key matchups of the game and what you can look for in how the game plays out. “I would say it’s more complicated than maybe most people think in terms of just finding a soft spot and protecting yourself, protecting the ball, knowing how to get the yard that you need”.
“On playing against his former team…”
“I don’t think it (injury) will affect him”, O’Brien said. “It was about four years ago that I was there”.
But, clearly, the Patriots need more production and better consistency from their running game so they can avoid risky 2nd-and-long or 3rd-and-long scenarios.
We’ll update this story as we gather more information.
Safety Patrick Chung missed his first practice of the season Wednesday with a foot ailment. Ultimately this is a must-win for both teams, which is why it was graciously flexed to the Sunday night matchup.
Also missing from practice was receiver Julian Edelman (foot) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (knee).
Safety Devin McCourty showed up on the first injury report of the week as limited with a shoulder ailment.
LB JEROD MAYO had his first sack of the season last week.
This season Watt has a league-leading 13.5 sacks.
