Star Wars: The Force Awakens also stars Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. But the Chinese version, issued following the announcement of a 9 January release date in the world’s most populous nation, sees him shrunk to the size of supporting characters. This is the most energetic he’s been in years, which really says something about how special this experience is for everyone, from fans to the people who worked hard to try and make the best new Star Wars sequel they could.

The originial installment of the the billion dollar movie franchise, Star Wars, A New Hope, was created by George Lucas in 1977. That theory appears to have been punctured by the new report.
Ford gave weight to the theory when he gave the following answer. At least as far as Boyega is concerned, there’s going to be plenty of Finn story left to tell in the follow-up films. Presumably it’s Kylo Ren, who’s seen flexing his evil lightsaber. The secrecy has stirred rampant online speculation, particularly about the fate of Skywalker, who is absent from trailers and posters promoting the new film. When asked how far ahead they’d planned, Kennedy said some key story elements were already decided on, while others are left to the individual filmmakers.
Audiences of the new film also won’t see any Ewoks, the furry creatures from 1983’s Return of the Jedi, Kennedy said.
Christie will be glad to hear that the first female villain in the franchise isn’t meeting her maker just yet, which is more than can be said for originals favourite Boba Fett, a character Captain Phasma has often been likened to by fans. Because of this, some have wondered if this could be something new for the Star Wars series as well but now J.J. Abrams has definitely put an end to that conversation.
