Ronaldinho has been forced to answer questions about his desire over the past few years.
Rio de Janerio, July 19 (IANS): Brazilian football club Fluminense has reported a 36 percent jump in club membership this week since the signing two-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho. Indeed, the ex-Barcelona forward showed up 48 minutes late to his introductory press conference, yet still promised those in attendance that he is 100% committed to the Flu cause. “I come very motivated, happy with the expectation that I can make history with this great club, that’s the project, now I must to work hard to make history in this club”.
“I wanted to play after seeing the stadium (Maracana) and the fans with all their support”.
The playmaker told reporters: ‘I got emotional.
Ronaldinho had been linked with a couple of clubs – among them Samuel Eto’o’s new side in Turkey – but decided to return to Brazil, as he strives to win the Brazilian championship for the first time in his career.
“It’s very important to blend experience with young players, I hope to win titles and help these kids to run and win together”, he said. It motivates me a lot.
