J.J. Abrams Reveals Second Word In Star Wars: The Force Awakens
In an unusual move, the press in attendance weren’t allowed to see the movie prior to conducting interviews, so we’re still not entirely sure where the new Star Wars trilogy’s story will go for these characters. When asked how far ahead they’ve planned, Kennedy said that some key story elements were already written, while others are left to the other filmmakers.
The new installment in the “Star Wars” movie saga opens in theaters this month against a formidable force: the galactic hopes of devoted fans who have waited a decade to revisit their beloved universe of Jedi, droids and lightsabers.
Kathleen Kennedy, a producer of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, sat down to answer some questions concerning rumors of a certain villain in the movie. Meanwhile, Johnson’s “Star Wars: Episode VIII” hits theaters on May 26, 2017 while Colin Trevorrow’s “Star Wars: Episode IX” premieres in 2019.
Want yet more footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Adam Driver claimed he could not remember if his character, the Darth Vader-like Kylo Ren, had his own theme song. It was spectacular. She has brought the character of Maz Kanata to life in the most wonderful, wise, touching, deep and amusing way. “It’s a real big movie, and I was delighted to see it”. So I said, “OK, I will go my way, and I’ll let them go their way”‘.
And, for the record, he likes The Force Awakens.
A stormtrooper named Finn (John Boyega) encounters Rey and droid BB-8, and the three embark on a journey. He is absent from “Force Awakens” posters and trailers, prompting theories that the character dies or joins the dark side. “Just ’cause”, Ford said coyly. Well Boyega himself may not know for certain yet.
Maybe that’s going a bit overboard, but keep in mind, this is a man who appears to not particularly like the original trilogy so much anymore – as evidenced by the numerous times he has ruined them in the years following their release.
Fox: Awesome!!! Thank you for that!
