Jaime King Gives Birth, Welcomes Second Child With Kyle Newman

The Hart of Dixie alum gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, late last week, she revealed via Instagram on Monday, July 20.

Jaime King and her husband Kyle Newman have welcomed their second child, a baby boy.

Previously, King, 36, explained why she chose Swift, 25, as her second son’s godmother. Jaime captioned the family photo, which shows Jaime nursing the newborn (who is hidden in the photo) from her hospital bed while Kyle and the couple’s first son, James, are seated next to her. “The reason why I posted that photo was as an advocate and as an activist for women’s bodies”, she said of daring to bare her bump.

She added the caption, “We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy!”

“Names are never easy, you don’t want something to be too Hollywood and out there”.

Their first child, James Knight, was born in 2013.

No doubt the family is more than happy to welcome the new child as Jaime’s previous struggles with fertility have been well documented.

In March, it was announced – again via Instagram – that Jaime’s BFF Taylor Swift would serve as godmother to the new bundle of joy. ‘All that matters is that you’re taking care of the nutrition for yourself and your child.’.
