Trump Cancels Israel Trip, Optimistically Reschedules for When He Is President
Trump was scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on December 28 in Jerusalem, an Israeli official confirmed to ABC News on Wednesday.
Trump tweeted Thursday morning that he plans to visit Netanyahu “after I become President of the U.S”. “Trump’s temporary ban proposal is in the context of doing all we can to force the Feds to acknowledge their lack of strategy to deal with terrorism”, Palin said. “All I’m doing is postponing it and I think that was the better decision”, he said.
The announcement from the real estate tycoon came after a statement from the prime minister’s office said Netanyahu rejects Trump’s recent remarks about Muslims.
“He said we have a meeting and he looks forward to the meeting and all of that. While other candidates in this race have gone out of their way to throw rocks at him, to insult him, I have consistently declined to do so and I have no intention of changing that now”.
Republican frontrunner Trump called on Monday for the ban on Muslims, the most dramatic response yet by any candidate to last week’s shooting spree by two Muslims who the Federal Bureau of Investigation said had been radicalised.
The state of Israel respects all religions and strictly guarantees the rights of all its citizens.
“True Muslims know that the ruthless violence of so-called Islamic terrorists goes against the very tenets of our religion”, the statement added. The United States, like most of the global community, refuses to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and says the city’s status must be resolved in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
“If you say no Muslims can travel here from overseas, you’re hurting the United States’ position against ISIS”, O’Reilly told Trump in a wide-ranging interview.
“I am a Muslim and there is nothing Islamic about killing innocent people in Paris, San Bernardino, or anywhere else in the world”, the statement attributed to Ali said.
