Trump’s Threatening Tweets to Cruz: “He Will Fall Like All Others”
The attacks came after word leaked that Cruz had questioned Trump’s judgment at a closed-door fundraiser, straining the rare detente between two of the race’s most outspoken candidates. Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and Cuban father.
They even appeared at the same event in Washington in September to slam the Obama administration’s Iran nuclear deal, spreading mutual admiration and sharing the spotlight at the rally.

“Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button?” he continued. “And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them”, Cruz said, according to the audio posted by the Times. “But I think we’re going to do great, and we are doing great with evangelicals”.
Cruz’s campaign on Thursday attempted to downplay the New York Times story, calling the newspaper’s report of the Texas lawmaker criticizing Trump “misleading”.
Cruz said that recent terror attacks have caused voters to look more seriously at candidates’ capacity to serve as commander-in-chief and their ability to understand and address the threats facing the country.
In a conference held in a Madison Avenue office on Wednesday Cruz made sharp comments about his competitors, especially Mr. Trump.

The New Yorker spent more time on Friday poking Cruz for opposing ethanol subsidies, which are widely popular there.
Cruz’s campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider about Trump’s Cuba comments.
“I’m grateful Donald Trump is running”. “I can see serving with him”, Trump said. “It is. Well look, he’s from Texas – to the best of my knowledge, there’s a lot of oil in Texas, right?”

“In the course of a presidential election, the voters are going to make a decision about every candidate”, he said.
But the signs that the bonhomie between the two men may be at risk have been increasing lately.
While Donald Trump is still sitting at the top of the national polls for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, he turned his sights on a primary opponent who has been ticking up in Iowa. So – but, I’m with you. They totally control Bush, Rubio.
“I like the things that Trump has to say”. He’s got to hit me first. “I’m Presbyterian. Boy, that’s down the middle of the road, folks, in all fairness. I’m with everybody”, Trump said.
For his part, Cruz appears to be trying to head off a fight.
State troopers told KCCI there were also protesters outside who were removed demonstrating against Trump’s call earlier this week for a ban on Muslims entering the USA – a subject he avoided Friday night.
