Louisa Johnson had to cancel a scheduled appearance in Liverpool on Wednesday night and doctors have got her on strict bed rest ahead of this weekend’s final.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini gushed over the Essex teenager, saying: “I believe you can fly, too”.
Louisa Johnson is far and away the favourite, with bookmakers William Hill having her at 1/5 to win this year’s competition.

The X Factor finale kicks off this evening at 8pm on TV3, and will also feature performances from the likes of of Little Mix, Fleur East, Leona Lewis, Ben Haenow, Coldplay, and One Direction.
The three acts have revealed which songs they’ll be doing – Reggie “N” Bollie will put together a Spice Girls and Outhere Brothers medley performing a mix of Spice Up Your Life and Boom Boom Boom and finally Kriss Kross’ Jump. Reggie N Bollie acknowledged that they owed everything to their mentor.
Reggie and Bollie teamed up with Craig David and Fuse ODG for a mash-up duet of the former’s hit “Rewind” and the latter’s “Dangerous Love”. And Louisa is already the image of an worldwide pop star.
