Obama warns: Discrimination against Muslims helps ISIS

The president’s remarks came after a tumultuous week in which he faced criticism for a rare Oval Office address in which he resisted pressure for a ground campaign against Islamic State militants and the Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump demanded that the U.S. deny entry to all Muslims.

“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the risky threat it poses, our country can not be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life”, Trump said (via CNN).

“In San Bernardino, even as the community continues to grieve, people are refusing to be ruled by fear”, the president said, referring to the couple who opened fire at a holiday party, killing 14 and wounding 22.

Therefore if US Christianity is left with any sense of humane values (the hallmark of Christianity) and not interested merely in enjoying enormous power and wealth (land, landed properties, money etc) given by Americans then without any further delay should vehemently demand from the people of U.S. (including Prez Obama, Congress and other US politicians) to ask through Muslim-Americans the Muslims all over the world to send the clergy of Islam (from all over the world) in ISIS territories of Syria and Iraq to question the Islamic clergy in ISIS territories that why they are not standing-up against the terrorism, cruelties, brutalities, atrocities and poisonous propaganda of ISIS all over the world.

Chuck Todd: What do you say to Mr. and Mrs. America that doesn’t know many people who are Muslim, and only sees the reports? Over the years, plots have been uncovered because someone saw something and spoke up. “We’re taking our more of their fighters, their weapons, their oil tankers”.

“Key to the uniqueness of the American experience is the timeless concept of “freedom of religion” in which all should be allowed to worship God according to their faith traditions free from intimidation, harassment or persecution”. That’s how they recruit.

“Just as Muslims around the world have to keep rejecting any twisted interpretation of Islam, all of us have to reject bigotry … I’ll say it again, prejudice and discrimination helps ISIL and it undermines our national security”, Mr Obama said.

A major new survey on religion and security opinions in America has found that nearly twice as many respondents are willing to link Muslim extremists with Islam than Christian extremists with Christianity. “Grateful citizens are saying thank you to our patriotic Muslim American service members and veterans”, he said.

That’s the message I hope every Muslim American hears-that we’re all part of the same American family. “And it’s a message all of us can deliver – parents to our children, teachers to their students, leaders in politics and business and entertainment”, Mr Obama said. In such a context, the “us” vs. “them” narrative (with Muslims as “them”) is not only unhelpful but also risky. That’s the spirit we have to uphold. The USA (and its Supreme Commander of military, the US President Obama) should be ashamed that despite 65 countries (including military superpower, the USA) attacking ISIS for the last ~ 16 months a militarily nonentity ISIS is not eliminated.
