Star Wars: Looking Back At The Empire Strikes Back

The melding of Google Street View and Star Wars was created by a fan of the movie, Popular Science reports. A lot of people were pretty excited about it, but unfortunately when Disney bought Star Wars, the developer LucasArts was shut down and the game was cancelled.

Spin-offs and standalone films in the “Star Wars” franchise will not all be prequels and sci-fi-themed movies, according to Lucasfilm President, Kathleen Kennedy.

Elaborating on that, the main Star Wars trilogy, starting with The Force Awakens, will focus on the continuing adventures of the Skywalker family and the great space opera clash between the Resistance and the First Order.

After the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in just eight short days, fans won’t have to wait too long to go back to this beloved galaxy far, far away.

While it’s far from any confirmation that Star Wars 1313 will ever see the light of day, it’s good to know Lucasfilm hasn’t given up just yet. “Rogue One”, for instance, centers on the theft of the Death Star plans by a band of Rebels, making it a heist movie, “to a certain extent”.

Something I’ve never seen stated before is the fact that the Star Wars Story films will actually be tackling various genre stories set within the Star Wars universe.

Aside from that, she mentioned that the upcoming movies in the SWEU “can be a wide variety of genres inside the Star Wars universe”. Star Wars: Uprising players have journeyed through an epic storyline across iconic locations including the planets Hoth and Cloud City, and unlocked new character classes, like Bounty Hunter and Diplomats.

They are really being designed as standalone movies which is fantastic for the filmmakers we bring in, and the actors we hire, because it’s a different sensibility. For me, the story was better than the original, not that the story in Star Wars was bad.
