Muslim remarks don’t hurt Trump in latest poll
Hacker group Anonymous have “declared war” on controversial United States presidential candidate Donald Trump – the internet collective claiming responsibility for briefly bringing down a website owned by the billionaire overnight. That’s according to a new poll conducted by the New York Times and CBS, which found that Trump is the top pick for 35 percent of Republicans around the country. Netanyahu’s office had said in a statement issued Wednesday that he rejects Trump’s comments about Muslims but planned to move forward with the meeting with Trump.
The frontrunner for the Republican nomination for the White House triggered an outcry with the proposal, which was lambasted in U.S. and overseas.
“Not at all”, Trump said in an interview with ABC News.
It came in the wake of last week’s shooting by a Muslim couple in Sen Bernardino, California, that left 14 dead.
Trump’s blunt statements about immigration and terrorism tell us a lot about how he would perform as president.
Trump earned widespread scorn on Monday when he revealed his proposal for a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslims entering the United States.
“We don’t know what’s happening”. A gnawing sense of dread has helped lift Trump to a new high among Republicans, who will vote in primaries to choose their party’s nominee for the November 2016 presidential election. I’m a smart person. “I mean this is a free country for [what that’s] worth but I think it does need to be shut down until they get a cap on things”. “I said it back in 2009 and got beat up by the Left but understood by the commonsense Right, and I’ll say it again: if it saves innocent lives, ‘profile away!'” she wrote.
