The Kardashian-Wests welcome a healthy baby boy
She’s charted the pregnancy through selfies, and now Kim Kardashian West has posted the news we’ve all been waiting for!
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have welcomed their baby boy.
Kim revealed the news via social media with a Twitpic and caption “He’s here!”.
No word yet on which direction they’ll go with as far as names for their new son.
According to “Us” their son’s moniker has become a trending topic on Twitter the moment she gave birth on Saturday.
Kim Kardashian, North West and Kanye West attend the Alexander Wang Fashion Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2015 at Pier 94 on February 14, 2015 in New York City.
While the couple hasn’t told the world the baby’s name, in an interview NPR Weekly, she assured fans that she wouldn’t be naming her son, South, because that’s “so stupid”. “We didn’t name her for like seven days”. She told fans: “Kanye and I welcome our baby boy!” “I feel confident obviously that we’ll figure it out”, she said. The mother and child are doing well, “is written on the website of the star”.
The couple isn’t alone as they try to settle on a name.
Kim announced her son’s birth in the modern way – on Twitter, and on her best-selling app – with the words: “He’s here!”
Kim went on to explain: “There was a risk that my water might break or the baby’s heart rate could drop – in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. Last time I gained 50lbs but I delivered six weeks early and they say you gain the most at the end so I probably would have gained 70lbs!”
The brunette beauty announced on her website that the procedure hurt more than giving birth but it was a success. Even though her younger brother has the name, none of Kardashian’s nephews (or nieces) from sister Kourtney Kardashian have used “Robert” yet, so it could be a touching tribute.
