Out – Laindon’s Che Chesterman
Phew! The X Factor 2015 part two was a dramatic occasion, that ended with Louisa Johnson being named the victor of this year’s competition, while Group act Reggie “N” Bollie placed second, and Boys contestant Ché Chesterman came third.
Also performing in the live final was One Direction, Adele, and a farewell appearance from One Direction, who are due to go on a hiatus. I’ve just had a real mixture.
Johnson’s version was greeted by raucous applause from around the arena, whereas Reggie N Bollie’s cover was received with confusion on Twitter with the song not suiting the R’N’B rappers at all. She continued to attend classes as her X Factor journey progressed, admitting: ‘Its weird still being at college, even the teachers are talking about me, everyone been so nice’.
Other highlights included Fleur East’s and Little Mix’s duet AND we have to say Louisa singing with her mentor Rita Ora stole the show.
The two acts will perform their winner’s song live on the results show, giving viewers a taste of the track they might be hearing at number one this Christmas. “Your energy, your enthusiasm – after that, we may be in for a surprise!”, Show boss Simon Cowell said.
Louisa joins novelty rappers Reggie and Bollie in the final.
Talking about The X Factor finalists, she said: “I love all of them, I’m going to call Louisa tonight but Lauren was my favourite, I loved her”.
Performances on the show came from Coldplay, who sang “Adventure Of A Lifetime” and Adele with a rousing rendition of her comeback single “Hello”.
The 17-year-old student from Essex becomes the youngest ever victor of the competition.
“And that’s what I said to a couple of the guys”.
Last year’s X Factor runner up, who lost out to Ben Haenow, fitted right in with the girl band with all five girls showing plenty of leg in some very skimpy costumes. “I’ve always gone on what I thought”.
