Where to watch ‘Star Wars’ all day and all of the night
Starting at 7 p.m. Thursday – the scheduled time of the first “Force Awakens” screenings – the three Phoenix locations will keep playing it through the night and wee hours straight into the usual Friday screenings, according to Phoenix Theatres president Cory Jacobson.
Harrison Ford delighted a group of fans when he made a surprise appearance at a special preview screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” in Australia.

Abrams revealed that he was shooting one scene for the film with IMAX cameras earlier past year, which had us pretty excited at the prospect of seeing a new Star Wars movie on the big-big screen, though it’s not proving to be as easy as we’d hoped.
Asked about the project and who he thought should be cast, Ford said: “I don’t think it’s about being like me, it’s about us being like Han Solo”.
Amid rumours that a key character from the original 1977-83 trilogy may die in the latest film, Ridley said: “What I found really lovely is that I get to do all the fun stuff – run around the desert and fight baddies – but her story is really emotional”.
“I pretended that I was fine for about an hour and then got in the vehicle and wept the whole way to the airport”, she said.
