Tables, Ladders And Chairs 2015 Results — WWE TLC
The match that began the ladder revolution – or more specifically the TLC folklore. The New Day will face The Usos and the Lucha Dragons at TLC on Sunday, but tonight they will battle Kalisto and Sin Cara.
Sheamus snatched the title from Reigns’ grasp at the close of Survivor Series, but Roman is going to need a lot longer than 5:15 to reclaim it. The promotion’s main title simply doesn’t change hands outside of WrestleMania and SummerSlam anymore, with special exceptions such as Seth Rollins’ injury. Since Papa Flair will be ringside for the match he’ll no doubt get involved – cost Paige the match via dirty pin, making the double turn that much more obvious. Reigns got the win for his team after spearing Rusev.
Jack Swagger had been pulled from obscurity to deal with the uprising of the Mex-Americans, but the WWE seems to have dropped that idea now that the League of Nations has formed.
Charlotte clearly the woman that the WWE wants to build the Divas division around. Paige looked set to win the Diva’s Championship as she pinned Charlotte, but Ric Flair moved his daughter’s feet under the ropes to break the count, and Charlotte would go on to use an exposed turnbuckle to win the bout. No way Charlotte loses. Alberto Del Rio is the current United States Champion and is another member of the League of Nations. Yet, for the most part, they’ve barely interacted on the mic. They’ve also had a golden opportunity to throw back to the beginning of this year, when Ambrose was clamoring for the IC title, and they’ve ignored that, as well. On a later edition of Raw, the two dueled with chairs and Swagger came out on top. This time around, Swagger’s former manager Zeb Colter has been managing Del Rio since the latter’s return to the WWE a few months ago. The Wyatts do. Bray Wyatt has been cutting promos about being a badass for several years but never wins. Bubba and D-Von were brought in to get new talent over.
The Wyatt family survived an eight-man elimination Tables Match against Team Extreme. After the Dudleys ran afoul of the Wyatts, they enlisted the help of their friends Dreamer and Rhyno to help even the odds. I expect Strowman and Rowan to get eliminated but Wyatt will remain.
Ideal Result – Nothing fancy; just a high-spot filled, exciting match where New Day take advantage of the Freebird Rule in this no DQ match – keeping the titles. [Image via WWE]Fans were not the only ones showing their displeasure as professional wrestling journalist Wade Keller tweeted during last weeks’ show that “Vince McMahon and co. are going to go forward out of stubborn pride to prove they are right until there are no viewers left”.
This one is interesting. Can Roman Reigns finally steal back his belt and dethrone Seamus? While Ambrose would make a fantastic Intercontinental Champions, KO is doing just fine. Reigns would then face Sheamus at a later date for the Title. That’s because he doesn’t get the belt Sunday. In Owens you have a heel that the fans don’t like and he cut a really good promo before the match. That’s how Sheamus won his first title.
With a guarantee of anywhere from four to seven wrestlers getting put through a table before the end of this match, it will serve as a good match to get the audience worked up if any prior match kills the mood.
Ever since debuting with the WWE in late 2012, Reigns has competed in a bulletproof vest. During the last “Monday Night Raw”, Reigns looked strong against Sheamus on a couple of segments.
