Rose Siggins, Star of ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show,’ Dies at 43
DENVER (AP) Rose Siggins, who played a legless character on “American Horror Story: Freak Show”, died Saturday in Denver, a representative said. “We are saddened to learn of the passing of Rose Siggins”.
The FX network paid tribute to Siggins calling her “a kind person, a loving mother and a very talented actor”. Both Sarah Paulson and Finn Wittrock posted their sadness, condolences for her loved ones, as well as the link to her gofundmepage in hopes that members of the American Horror Story community will show their generosity and solidarity in this time.
Her manager James Mullen released a statement about Rose’s death on a GoFundMe page set up to help with medical expenses for her surgeries.
Rose Siggins was first introduced to us in Season 4 of American Horror Story. “I will never forget your laugh or your lovely eyes”.
They were amputated when she was two and had prosthetic legs until she was a teenager, when she refused to wear them and turned up for school on a skateboard.

The actress was born with rare genetic disorder called sacral agenesis; she had reportedly battled kidney and pancreas issues her whole life. Ben Woolf, who portrayed the role of Meep in the Freak Show, had also passed away earlier this year.
