Louisa Johnson is crowned winner
The X Factor pulled out all the stops to make last night’s show was bigger and better than ever.
And the show concluded with Johnson, singing her X Factor single, mobbed by her fellow contestants.
The 17-year-old from Chafford Hundred has been favourite to win the show since it first aired back in August, with every passing performance since wowing judges and viewers across the country.
Cheryl could barely be heard over the appreciative audience as she told Louisa she was running out of words of praise while Simon added: “That is what’s called “The X Factor”.
Louisa said of school: “It was getting me down, and I just didn’t want to be there any more and parents were like, ‘just do what you need to do”. “Seriously thank you to everyone who keeps voting for us”, said Reggie.
“Thanks for having me – I wanted to burst out laughing”.
Why have one former “X Factor” finalist come back and perform when you could have two?Reigning champ Alexandra joined forces with runners-up JLS for this exciting (and, let’s face it, sexually-charged) performance, that was the highlight of the 2009 final.
Performances on the show came from Coldplay, who sang “Adventure Of A Lifetime” and Adele with a rousing rendition of her comeback single “Hello”.
‘I’ve got to the stage where I’m happier with them, I look in the mirror and don’t care.
Messages were then shown on a video tape from James Corden, Robbie Williams, Wayne Rooney, Danny DeVito (who told them to “spend some of that money” they earn), Jack Whitehall, Little Mix, 5 Seconds Of Summer and David Beckham.
Louisa Johnson has won “The X Factor”.
Louisa brought the high notes, the sass and the singing talent to Wembley arena as she sang It’ s A Man’s World backed by a choir and violinists in a breath taking performance.
“Once the show [‘X Factor’] finishes she’s hoping there will be time to reflect on everything and do whatever they decide is right over Christmas”. Including a seasonably smart touch to her clothes, the Body On Me hit-maker wore a plain black roll-neck jumper too.
And after her win, she went straight to Twitter to thank her fans as she gushed: ‘OMG.
But I must admit I also fell about laughing – and I really didn’t do it to be cruel or anything, it just struck me as amusing – when it appeared something fell off Chezza.
