Lacy, Packers too much for Cowboys

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WKOW) – Green Bay rediscovered their offense on Sunday with a 28-7 victory over Dallas.

There was nothing controversial about it.

Apart from the noted injury to quarterback Tony Romo, the Cowboys haven’t had any troubles in terms of players missing, Dez Bryant has been listed on the injury report as probable just as a precaution.

Beginning at the Cowboys’ 48, the Packers, overcoming another holding penalty, used nine plays to score.

All that will determine if the Packers go 9-4 and become more of a January contender, or not.

Previously, Bryant appeared to make an incredible touchdown grab against the Packers in the divisional round of last season’s playoffs, only to have the call overturned. This move to return to play-calling duties could be exactly what the Packers have been needing.

The Cowboys found the redzone in the third quarter, as Robert Turbin cashed in from a seven-yard rush to make it a one-touchdown game. Clements was not bad, but he simply didn’t have the feel for the game that McCarthy has had. The key play was a 46-yard run by McFadden. “This is a good team and a good program, they’ve been good for a long time”.
