DSP’s Father Satyamurthy No More
Popular Telugu writer G. Satyamurthy, father of southern composer Dev Sri Prasad, breathed his last on Monday (December 14) after a heart attack, a family source said.
Well-known writer Satyamurthy died of cardiac arrest. Satyamurthy worked for almost 90 films and is known for penning blockbuster films like Devatha, Khaidi No.786, Abhilasha, Pedarayudu etc.
Staya Murthy has played a crucial role in the profession of Devi Sri Prasad by supporting him from the earliest starting point. That made his son, Devi Sri Prasad enter into the film industry, with the support of industry biggies.
While it is ofourse a huge loss to DSP’s family, entire industry too is mourning the death of Satyamurthy, with great grief.
It must be noted that the 61 year old Sathyamurthy was a famous screenplay writer in Tollywood who has also worked as a lyricist during his early days. He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
