George Lucas to Attend ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Premiere: “He Really”
Designed for fans of the film franchise, the areas include movie memorabilia and replicas of Star Wars props, along with interactive video games and Star Wars merchandise. As well, Lucas had made comments about the direction the film was heading earlier in the year.
Disney’s well-oiled marketing machine strikes again – the final Star Wars playset for Disney Infinity 3.0, The Force Awakens, will be released on December 18th, the same day as the movie we’re all clamoring for. Younger fans of the movie will also be able to go through “Jedi training” and discover if they have what it takes to join the “rebel alliance”. And it’s nice to hear Lucas enjoyed the movie, especially since Kennedy said he had a hard time “watching this go on without his direct involvement”. Isaac divulges his lifelong loyalty to the Long Time Ago, Far, Far Away saga, and Ridley explains what an honor it is to be part of a story that has had an impact on so many. “Having him 100 percent on board is up to him and he can’t do that unless he’s running everything”. “There is no such thing as working over someone’s shoulder”, he said.
The film is being kept so under wraps that three Star Wars spin-off directors – Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Colin Trevorrow – have said they haven’t seen the film yet. I knew that I couldn’t be involved. The campaign furthers the mission of Star Wars: Force for Change, an initiative inspiring people to make a positive impact on the world around them. “It would probably ruin a vision – J.J. has a vision, and it’s his vision”.
Tickets start at $15 each, but to take home the commemorative Orlando Magic Star Wars Night 8 x 10 autographed photo it’ll set you back with tickets starting at $55.00 each.
This is a good sign I guess.
