Teacher assaulted by attacker citing Islamic State
Earlier on Monday, other French officials told how the teacher had reported that a hooded assailant claiming a link to the militant Islamist group had attacked him as he prepared for classes.
This stabbing comes weeks after a separate incident when a Jewish teacher in Marseille was also attacked by ISIS supporters.
A teacher has been stabbed at a primary school in Paris in an ISIS-inspired attack, according to French media reports.
Security was tightened at French schools in the wake of the November 13 terror attacks in and around Paris that left 130 people dead.

Education Minister Najat Vallaud-Belkacem hurried to the school this morning, and called the incident “an act of great gravity”.

According to the AFP News Agency, a recent edition of Isis’s French-language propaganda magazine, Dar-al-Islam, specifically urged followers in France to kill teachers, describing them as “enemies of Allah”.
The teacher was treated at a hospital for minor wounds to his side and neck.
Strict security measures have been imposed at French schools since previous attacks in January, with doors locked during the day, ID checks for visitors and random bag searches.
