Watch Taylor Swift’s ‘The 1989 World Tour LIVE Concert Film’ Trailer
The pop star announced Sunday, on her 26th birthday, that she will release the “The 1989 World Tour LIVE” on the streaming platform on December 20.
Her post on Tumblr read: “I’m sure you are aware that Apple Music will be offering a free 3 month trial to anyone who signs up for the service. This is the 1989 World Tour”. It will include the entire performance, along with its surprise musical and celebrity appearances, as well as exclusive footage from backstage.
The singer also tweeted that an interview discussing the video would be broadcast at 9 a.m. PST (1700 GMT) on Monday on Beats 1, Apple’s radio station. Users cannot purchase or download the movie, but they can stream it on Apple Music anytime.

If you want to see the film, you can do so starting next Sunday on any Apple device. The Swift and Apple will release clips from the film throughout the week and on the company’s newly launched Twitter Moments page. Swedish director Jonas Akerlund, best known for the Grammy-winning video for Madonna’s 1998 single Ray of Light, worked on the film.
Apple clearly won big by gaining exclusive content from from one of the worlds biggest music stars.
British singer Adele’s much-anticipated album “25” was withheld from streaming on digital music services, including Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.
This is not the first time that Apple Music teamed up with Taylor. Thereafter, Apple changed its mind and agreed to pay royalties to music labels and publishers during the three-month trial, according to the Guardian. But Apple eventually caved, which resulted in Swift agreeing to give the tech titan the rights to stream her tunes on Apple Music. Swift later explained to Vanity Fair that Apple treated her “like I was a voice of a creative community that they actually cared about”.
