Ferne McCann’s spider trial prompts hundreds of complaints

It was down to George Shelley, Ferne McCann and Vicky Pattison to battle it out to be crowned king or queen of the jungle, but first, there were a few final trials to be had. I was doing things I knew weren’t right and, unfortunately, this meant that my mum could not be proud of me then.

His two remaining fellow camp-mates Ferne and Vicky had already won starters and a main meal for the trio’s final meal around the campfire.

She said: “Normally I am a bit of a nutcase”.

“I wanted to go and challenge people’s stereotypes and opinions”.

More than 500 viewers have complained about Fern McCann eating a live spider in the I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! final. “I can’t thank everyone enough for voting for me – I honestly don’t think I deserve it”.

She said of her jungle experience: “It was everything and more”.

But Vicky decided against the gruelling filming schedule, saying: “You don’t need to worry about your jobs just yet because I’m not coming after them”.

Vicky admitted she was stunned to win after the finale of the ITV reality show and even thought she might not be able to cope being out of contact with her family in the jungle.

But the actress said she has not seen any scripts for the third series and has “no idea” what twists and turns the story will take next. However, she said: “I still intend to have a tear up every once in a while”.
