Rita Ora casts doubt over her X Factor future
“As a new judge it’s a good way to leave the show”, said Rita, when she spoke to the series” spin-off TV show “Xtra Factor’ viewers on Sunday night (December 13th) alongside Louisa herself, who became the youngest contestant ever to win the competition at the age of 17.
And that long-awaited work, which features contributions from Dev Hynes, Ed Sheeran and Diplo, will be an edgier departure from the bubblegum fun of “I Will Never Let You Down”. As such, hearing him describe the latest British “X Factor” champ as “not human” should be enough to make audiences stop, look, and listen to the newly-crowned victor.
She earned a standing ovation from all four of this year’s judges with her oh-so-big performance of Michael Jackson’s Who’s Loving You at her X Factor audition back in August – where she revealed that former X Factor winner-turned-global superstar Leona Lewis is her inspiration.
She followed up with The Power Of Love by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
‘I’ve got no idea where they get the £6million figure from, ‘ she admitted.
She tackled Lay Me Down by Sam Smith at bootcamp and sailed through to the next stage. The singer was snapped suffering a nip slip when she left the show’s studio to head for a party.
As host Caroline Flack struggled to rectify the mistake, show boss Simon Cowell raised his hands in the air to enquire what was going on.
“For me to be in the final in the best year for talent is a massive honour”. I’m really young, they are losing their little girl so young. “They came third and have gone so far”.
“It’s been seven years, and it has been a bit of a battle”, she said. It would probably be quite worrying if I was just complacent about it all.
He added: “We still pull in millions of viewers, we still get talked about every day, ITV loves it, the advertisers still love it”.
Her general amazingness even saw Louisa catch the eye of two rather well-known faces – One Direction stars Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
