Vasundhra Raje Meets BJP Chief Amit Shah Ahead Of Monsoon Session
It is being speculated that Raje would be meeting senior BJP leaders over the Lalit Modi row.
Beleaguered Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were also part of the strategy meetings held at the residences of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah on Sunday.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Information and Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad were among those who met Shah.
Azad stated that it was upto Prime Minister Narendra Modi to determine whether or not the monsoon session of the Parliament will run or not.

The monsoon session is set to be stormy, making the fate of key Bills, such as the Constitution Amendment Bill for the introduction of Goods & Services Tax (GST), uncertain.
There is acknowledgement in the BJP that the spate of allegations against its leaders has hurt the government, but there were apprehensions that succumbing to opposition pressure would only further complicate matters for it. While the government is reconciled to disruption in Parliament amidst a standoff with the Opposition, it would have to be seen who blinks first in the war of nerves.
The government has finalised 35 items of business for the monsoon session, which included nine bills pending in Rajya Sabha and four pending in Lok Sabha, besides introduction of 11 new bill. The Congress, which had been at the receiving end of corruption allegations, has been attacking Modi for his silence and is likely to put the onus of running parliament on the ruling side.
