Six month old Rukaiya, daughter of Mohammed Kalim was found dead under a pile of her parents’ belongings, which triggered a furore.

The DDA had reportedly said that they were carrying out the demolition drive on the orders of the National Green Tribunal.

The demolition of shanties in the Belagaon area was reportedly carried out by Delhi Development Authority.
