‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Tops $100 Million in Presales!

The last pair to leave the stage before the screening was R2-D2 and his new droid companion BB-8. Despite the devilishly Han-channeling Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron and even the eye-watering Millennium Falcon moments, Rey made people yell.
The star-studded premiere also saw new actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Max von Sydow, Gwendolyn Christie walk the red carpet. Joseph Gordon-Levitt dressed as Yoda, while numerous women brought out their best Princess Leia-inspired buns. The movie opens on Friday, though several theaters in the Phoenix area will begin showing it Thursday evening.
The Hollywood Reporter executive editor Matthew Belloni wrote: “Star Wars premiere just letting out now”.
