Texan crashes into hotel after bill dispute

A man crashed his pickup truck into the lobby of an Oklahoma hotel after allegedly making racist remarks during a bill dispute with the clerks.

The frightening, close encounter was captured on camera.

Police say a man angry with his hotel bill drove his truck through the front entrance of an Alva hotel. He surrendered to police.

Parsley is facing two felony counts of assault and battery with a risky weapon and one count of malicious injury to property over $1,000.

According to local newspaper Enid News & Eagle, he was upset that his credit card was declined twice and had to pay cash.

Kingson Christian, the hotel’s manager, told investigators that “Parsley stated it wasn’t his first bad experience with a hotel manager who was also Indian”. “I explained to him that this was just a pre-authorization and not a charge, but he would not listen”. “I don’t know how I jumped that”, she said. The officer then approached the vehicle and Parsley rolled down his window before placing his vehicle into drive and accelerating into the hotel’s front entrance.

“I’m so thankful that God’s hand protected me”, Christian said.

John Edward Parsley was arrested December 10th for driving into a hotel lobby with his truck.
