“They are huge up front”, Bowles said of the Titans’ rookie linemen. The other problem with that is, sometimes the best way to beat a blitzing defense is with screens and quick passes that get your skill position players in the open field.

So there’s no extra concern over what the Chiefs do next weekend at Baltimore.

“It’s a big concern because he can run like a halfback”, Bowles said. Everything else will take care of itself.

On the pass rush today: “I think Mo (Muhammad Wilkerson) had a great game today”.

Earlier in the week, we talked about the potential of a “trap” game. With Revis back, it’ll be another tough matchup for Dez Bryant after the receiver had one of his worst games last Sunday. We have a lot of young guys.

This team just did a poor job all around. It was the third straight game, and sixth this season, that NY has held opponents under 75 yards rushing. He posted five tackles, three sacks (marking 12 for the year), and a forced fumble.

Ryan Fitzpatrick and the offense have been stunningly unsafe. Fitzpatrick now has 25 touchdown passes on the year, four shy of tying Vinny Testaverde’s franchise record for a single season. Skrine “played it pretty well”, Mariota said. “He’s made some really good decisions these last three games”. But he later connected from 47, 27 and 42 yards. It’s not anything that’s flashy.

While it’s nice to see a Jets quarterback throwing for over six hundred yards and six touchdowns in a two-week span, it’s even better to see zero picks.
