Timetable for Andrew Luck’s return from lacerated kidney uncertain

It was the longest division streak in National Football League history. Backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck injured his neck and ribs during a blowout loss at Pittsburgh, and the Colts said he reinjured those ribs in Sunday’s 35-point rout at Jacksonville.

This game has to be the worst loss in the Pagano/Grigson era.

The Indianapolis Colts were recently “not optimistic” that quarterback Andrew Luck would be able to take the field on Sunday against the Houston Texans, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Colts, who have won nine of 13 division titles since realignment in 2002, can regain control of the AFC South by beating the Texans at home next Sunday.

“Still dealing with some stuff, ” Pagano said.

Hasselbeck may not practice Wednesday but its hoped that he will be cleared to practice on Thursday. Toler might be allowed to practice on Wednesday.
