In a second incident elsewhere in the camp, paramilitary Border Police shot dead the driver of another vehicle who tried to ram them, a police spokeswoman said.
The group added: “Ill treatment of Palestinian children remains widespread and systematic in the Israeli military detention system as children arrested by Israeli forces arrive at Israeli interrogation centers blindfolded, bound and sleep deprived”.
The Palestinian health ministry confirmed the deaths of the would-be attackers, naming them as Ahmad Jahajha, 21, and Hekmat Hamdan, whose age was not disclosed.
On Dec. 3, the Israeli Shin Bet security service announced it has arrested several Jewish youths over their alleged involvement in the attack on the Dawabsheh family’s home in the village of Duma on July 31.
The ramming is the newest in a three-month period of near-daily assaults.

“They just despaired of the two-state solution”.
“We call on both Israeli and Palestinian leaders to act decisively to de-escalate the situation”.

The attacks have killed 117 Palestinians, 17 Israelis, an American and an Eritrean.

On Sunday, a 16-year-old Palestinian girl was shot after allegedly trying to carry out a stabbing attack near the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba in the occupied West Bank.
