Republicans spar over Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims
Supporter Tracy Hooker still says Trump is “my guy”. He said he didn’t “know how to comprehend” the backlash it received. “I think that this sends the wrong message to people that have to be part of our partnership for a solution”.
A poll conducted by the Associated Press-Gfk revealed that 8 in 10 Republican registered voters think Trump is or believed to be decisive.
But Trump’s Muslim friends aren’t the only people who oppose the temporary ban against Muslims.
‘Well, it does endanger national security because it exhibits an attitude, by one American who is running for the highest office of our land, about a willingness to discriminate against a religion, ‘ Kerry said on Sunday during ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
Robert Williams, a lineman for the local power company in North Augusta, said he is “on my guard” after the recent shooting in San Bernardino, California. Sen. Lindsey Graham is right: “ISIS loves Donald Trump because he is giving them an opportunity to bring people their way”. I think if he had time to explain it, I think he could.
“He’s definitely saying what people are thinking”, Jim Wilson, a government employee from Augusta, said. “If he keeps going and he actually becomes president, he might just get around to you, and you better hope that there’s someone left to help you”.
Trump also said he wants to discover why terrorists have “total hatred” for the U.S.
As a Mexican-American columnist who writes often about immigration, I have little tolerance for bigotry.
