Suspect in unprovoked stabbing has ‘impressive resume’
Police said the victim remains in grave condition in a hospital in Toronto.
The apparently random attack took place just before 3pm on Friday inside the Shoppers Drug Mart in Toronto’s underground PATH system at 66 Wellington Street West.
Investigators said the woman went into the store and stabbed another woman, “without provocation”.

Barry said the Crown will contest the bail based on the grounds that she may flee the jurisdiction and may commit further offences or obstruct justice.
According to her LinkedIn page, Bisesar is an advisor and investor in Toronto, with references publicly mentioning her “hard work and determination” and “warmth and interpersonal skills”. He said she has lots of friends who said the allegations are not in her character.
However, he said police have told him that she’s co-operating with their investigation.
On Saturday, police released a screenshot from a surveillance video showing the well-dressed stabbing suspect walking away from the scene of the crime. The circumstances behind her arrest were not disclosed as of press time.
Though authorities revealed little about Bisesar, in 2004, she received a Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree and in 2007, a Masters of Business Administration degree, a York University spokesperson confirmed to the Star. There is either a single person or more responsible and who and why would be nice to know’. Police say they do not believe the suspect and the victim knew each other.
