Kimmel writes a Trump children’s book called ‘Winners Aren’t Losers’
One day after a debate clash with Jeb Bush, Donald Trump said he’s been “a little bit divisive” and wants to see Republicans come together. He thanked Trump, who’d canceled on Kimmel’s ABC late-night show at the last minute in October, for “honoring your commitment to do this”. To prepare for his upcoming visit to JIMMY KIMMEL, the show went out on the street and asked people if they heard about a bunch of things we made up in this Donald Trump edition of #LieWitnessNews.
Kimmel pressed Trump on his widely criticized call to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the U.S.in the wake of the mass killings in Paris and San Bernardino.
“If you think about it, basically Donald Trump is leading among people who still answer their landline at their house”, said Kimmel as he introduced the segment.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” airs at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
The Republican front-runner continued his attacks on Jeb Bush, saying he isn’t sure how happy Jeb is running for president.
Aside from the serious political topics, Kimmel brought out some bedtime reading with a fake Trump-inspired children’s book titled “Winners Aren’t Losers”, based on his winning philosophy.
Trump himself was a “no comment” on if he’d kill the hypothetical Nazi dictator infant. The host also laughed out loud when Trump admitted he’s been “a little bit divisive” during this election cycle. “I agree with him, yeah”, one perspective voter says. “And I think he probably took my words and put them down”.
“Ultimately, I would like to come together and get this thing done”, Trump said, though he added that he’d prefer that lower-tier candidates like former New York Gov. George Pataki and Sen.
“I’ll tell you what these free-style rap battles are getting a lot whiter since the ’90s”, Kimmel quipped.
Trump called Latinos “unbelievable people”, saying he has employed thousands over the years. The imperious real estate tycoon is an explosive and charismatic character whose shoot-from-the-hip candor and rapier-like sarcasm have transformed him into a right wing Huey Long.
In the ninth installment of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Kimmel asked his EP, who was just off stage.
