Skype for Business Arrives on Android
Microsoft has updated the official iPhone and iPad apps of Skype with an improvement that is aimed at making sharing content on the popular video chat and voice call service easier. With this design, the contact search bar, upcoming meetings and recent conversations are all in one spot. If you’re joining a specific meeting, just tap the quick join icon so you can immediately join, as well as see the details for the meeting.
PSTN Conferencing provides the flexibility to dial in to a meeting from a traditional phone, in addition to the existing ability to join a meeting with a single click on your PC or mobile device.
Furthermore, developers have added full-screen video along with larger call-control buttons to mute and add participants to a meeting, which should make it easier for users to work while on the move.
Analytics – IT professionals can leverage big data to examine Skype for Business statistics. Contact management has also been improved, as you can search your global list by name, email address or phone number.
Keep in mind that if you’re an Android users with Lync 2013, the application will be automatically updated to the Skype for Business based on the device’s settings.
Microsoft has also enabled modern authentication in the app that enables IT admins to configure multi-factor authentication for users.

Skype has designed the app to maximize productivity and give users what they need most.
